Privacy Policy

Fold & Play is made by Canopus Labs Ltd. In short: Fold & Play collects no data. There is no account, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking, and Fold & Play has no servers of its own. It doesn’t connect to the internet except to check your purchase with Apple, and nothing about you or your games is sent to us.

What stays on your device

• Your games in progress are saved inside the app on your iPhone or iPad, and in its own backups if you make them. Deleting the app deletes them.
• Your choices (who plays, the computer’s strength, which side you take, and whether the chessboard shows its coordinates) are kept in the app’s own preferences on your device.

Fold & Play doesn’t use the camera, microphone, location, contacts or Photos, and it sends no notifications.

Purchases

The Full Set is sold through the App Store. Apple processes the payment, and we receive no personal or payment details. The app checks your purchase with Apple’s StoreKit and remembers on your device that the Full Set is unlocked. Apple’s privacy policy applies to purchases.

Children

Fold & Play is rated 4+ and is for players of any age. It collects no data from anyone, children included.
