Safha: Quran Mushaf
Every page of the Madani mushaf, as printed
Safha is a Quran app for iPhone with the 604-page Madani mushaf (Hafs) as it was printed, in the King Fahd Complex’s calligraphy, line for line. It’s there for daily reading and your Ramadan khatm, even offline.
Coming 23 October
- iPhone, iOS 26 or later
- Optimised for iPhone Duo
- Offline after one download
- Free, no ads
Safha is in Arabic and English, and the Quran is in Arabic only, with no translation, as in a printed mushaf.

Your Ramadan khatm, a portion after each prayer
Finish by the 27th night, by Eid or by a day you choose. Each day’s pages come in five portions, with one quiet reminder a day. No streaks: fall behind, and the rest spreads out again.

Share an ayah with its reference
Touch and hold a word to select its ayah. Copy it, share it with its surah and ayah number, or bookmark it. Your bookmarked ayahs and pages wait in Contents.

A night page for after Isha and suhoor
The night page is a deep green-black with soft ivory-gold text, gentle in a dark room after Isha or at suhoor. Choose day or night, or let it follow your iPhone.

Straight to any surah, juz or page
Open Contents to go to a surah, juz, hizb or page, or to your bookmarks. A new juz begins in a light gilt band, easy to spot as you read, and Safha reopens where you left off.
Two facing pages on iPhone Duo
Each half of the inner display is almost exactly the shape of a printed Madinah page, and so is the cover. Hold iPhone Duo half open, like a book, and the running head, page numbers and hizb markers appear around the pages. Opening or folding it never loses your place.

Free, with no ads
Safha is free to download and free to use. There are no ads, no in-app purchases and no subscription, and every page and feature is there for everyone from the start.
Nothing about you is collected
There’s no account or sign-in, and no ads, analytics or tracking. Your bookmarks, your place and your khatm plan stay on your iPhone, and on the App Store its privacy label reads Data Not Collected. See the privacy policy.
Questions
- How many pages a day to finish the Quran in Ramadan?
- The Madani mushaf has 604 pages. Over 30 days that’s about 20 pages a day, roughly a juz; over 27 nights, to finish by the 27th night, about 22 or 23. Split across the five prayers, that’s four or five pages after each. Safha’s khatm planner does the sums for you.
- Is there a Quran app that looks like the printed mushaf?
- Safha is one. It shows the 604-page Madani mushaf (Hafs) in the King Fahd Complex’s calligraphy, line for line as in print, with its surah headers and hizb markers. Pages turn like paper: one at a time on iPhone, two facing pages on an open iPhone Duo.
- Can I read the Quran offline on iPhone?
- Yes, with Safha. It needs the internet once, to download the mushaf (about 5 MB), and after that every page opens offline. When you’re online it checks for updates about once a day; if it can’t connect, it simply reads from the copy on your iPhone.
- Is there a free Quran app with no ads?
- Safha is free, with no ads, no account and no in-app purchases, and nothing in it is locked: every page, the khatm planner and the night page are there from the start. It collects no data; your bookmarks and khatm plan stay on your iPhone.
- Is the Quran text in Safha checked for accuracy?
- Yes. The text and fonts come from Quran Foundation, and every word on a page is checked against its text before the page is shown. The whole text has also been compared, word for word, with the Tanzil Project’s. If a page looks wrong, tell us.
- Can I plan a Quran khatm outside Ramadan?
- Yes. Besides the 27th night of Ramadan and Eid, Safha’s khatm planner lets you finish by any day you choose. It splits the pages left into five portions a day, one after each prayer, and if you fall behind, it spreads the rest over the days that remain.
Keep the mushaf close
Safha is free for iPhone and optimised for iPhone Duo. After one small download, all 604 pages go wherever you go, online or not.
