iPhone Duo is Apple’s book-style foldable iPhone: folded, you use its cover display, and open, the larger inner display. Each of our seven apps is designed for both, and each makes its own use of the open phone.

Every app works on other iPhone models too, with iOS 26 or later. Bifolio 1.0 needs iOS 27.1.

Questions

Which apps are optimised for iPhone Duo?
All seven of ours: Back Cover, Bifolio, Eyeline, Fold & Play, Fuelsy, Safha and Spread. Each is designed for the cover display when iPhone Duo is folded and the inner display when it’s open. Fuelsy has been optimised since version 2.0.1.
What does “optimised for iPhone Duo” mean?
That an app is built for both displays on iPhone Duo, filling each with a layout made for it. Ours go further: each uses the open phone in its own way, from Spread’s two-page cookbook to Eyeline’s script on the outer display, right beside the main camera.
Do the apps work with iPhone Duo folded?
Yes. Folded, every app fits the cover display: play Back Cover with the phone to your forehead, jot a quick note in Bifolio, or carry on reading in Safha from the page you were on.
Do these apps work on other iPhone models?
Yes. Every app works on any iPhone with iOS 26 or later, except Bifolio 1.0, which needs iOS 27.1. On an iPhone that doesn’t fold, you get the same app on one screen.
Are the apps free?
All seven are free to download. Bifolio and Safha are free outright. Back Cover and Fold & Play are free to play, with one purchase that unlocks the rest. Spread and Eyeline offer Pro by subscription or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Fuelsy, sold in the UK only, offers Fuelsy Pro by subscription.
